Just a Taste- Keo's

Keo's is my favourite Thai joint in the city. It has been rated the best Thai restaurant in Saskatoon. Keo's is located on Broadway nearest to 8th St. (Beside the old Co-op gas station). This evening it took us a while to get a seat and service but I couldn't complain about the food. Staff is always friendly and mannered when dealing with customers.

We began with the pork spring rolls. I was expecting something similar to Vietnamese spring rolls. These were different, they aren't quite comparable. They have less filling but are a nice light treat. If you are feeling adventurous you should try the Super Rolls. They are spring rolls inside of a salad roll. They're delicious and not to mention unique.

For my main dish, I ate the medium green curry chicken with rice. It's a sweet jalapeno paste with peas, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli and cucumbers. When I order food from any restaurant I always lean towards the option with that bite. It's sweet and spicy and is great with the rice. I had Just a Taste of the Pad See Ew. It was broad rice noodles with chicken and a lot of vegetables (Aashna ordered extra vegetables) stir fried in soy. This was tasty, it reminded me of a home cooked meal that my grandparents would make me.

Aashna and I have tried many dishes from this menu and are still trying to pick our favourites. So far we have agreed on the green curry, Pad See Ew and Pad Thai. If you aren't allergic to peanuts, I highly recommend Keo's!
