Let's Chat: Tattoos

This form of art is a great way of expressing yourself. You can get tattoos done to share memories and experiences or just because you think it looks neat (forget stupid tattoos like "DRAKE" across your forehead). In my opinion both are good reasons to have them done. People sometimes say "that's unprofessional", but does that matter when you have clothing to cover it? I have taken a great interest over the past couple of years to get a tattoo, but I promised myself (future self) that I would think about it rather than getting it done on impulse. That, and I am honestly a bit scared. I have a couple of serious ideas and hopefully I will have a piece by next Summer.

I am genuinely interested in tattoos that you have gotten and if you can recommend me any artists/parlours in the city.

  1. there's a point where people do it to "be cool" but a well thought through one can be so sick

  2. I'd never get one.

I can't think of anything I'd want on my body for the rest of my life... Maybe I would if I could think of something?

  3. I currently have 7, 1 unfinished. I'd recommend Rites of Passage, but definitely go to a few shops and really look at portfolios. Also talk to the people, a person's artwork might be mind blowing, but if you've got to sit next to them for longer than an hour or two you want to make sure you can stand being in the room with them.

  4. Many times doctors don't know much about tattoos and will prescribe unnecessary medications that may harm your tattoo's healing process. Some doctors may even be biased against locations
