Just a Taste: Jake's on 21st

Location
Just like it says in the name, Jake's is on 21st Street beside Elwood Flynn.

Environment
The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch throughout the week. It is always busy because of people on lunch breaks and the amount of reservations taken. The restaurant is quite small and crowded with tables.

Menu
Jake's serves beverages, breakfast, soups, salads, pananis, sandwiches, burgers and baked wraps.

Food
The food was really good, I ordered the Rogstad with pita chips and dill dip. The Rogstad is a breaded chicken, bacon, cheddar cheese and ranch baked wrap. It looked small but it was delicious and surprisingly filling. The pita chips are your average baked pita chips but come with a delicious dill dipping sauce. I also got a good taste of the salad with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing and in conclusion it was the best raspberry dressing that I have ever had. It was sweet, refreshing and the seeds added a nice texture.

Conclusion
This place is really busy, and it is for a reason so I advise you to make a reservation. The service was good but the floor plan is quite crowded, but hey if it wasn't you would never be able to sit inside. You can take out and they have a catering menu as well. This was my first time but I would definitely like to go again. Next time I plan on trying a panini.
