The Legends League | Everyone is Ugly
The Legends League is a clothing company based out of Toronto. It is ran by Bryan Espiritu, an experienced designer and artist. His latest collection "Everyone is Ugly" was sold to ten stores across Canada and his web shop. He released tees, tanks, caps and accessories. I personally think his graphics are clever and funny and are to be looked at in a different light. Some shirts may have vulgar references but his idea, description and meaning allow the shirt to have another meaning to what the shirt actually says.

Bape x UNDFTD
Street wear heavy weights A Bathing Ape and Undefeated link up for a Summer release. A lot of Hawaiian flavour is easily noticed, but I find myself being drawn to the simple pieces. I really like the "Strikes" tee with Bape camo, "Undefeated" tee with Bape camo and the skateboard at the bottom of the post. Like usual, this will be expensive and limited but kudos to you if you purchase a piece or two!

Edmonton: Foosh
I just got back tonight from a short mid-week trip to Edmonton. As usual, I ate good food and did a lot of shopping. One of my favourite places to stop is Foosh on Whyte Avenue. Foosh is a lifestyle store that carries a variety of clothing for men and women, collectibles and musical items. They supply brands such as Stussy, UNDFTD, Nike, Billionaire Boys Club and Insight just to name a few. I was able to roll through the shop a couple of times. Thanks to my homie Pat for hooking me up with some goodies!

Reigning Champ Fall/Winter 2012
I am very excited to see Reigning Champ's line in person. It was released to the Internet a few days ago. If you are a current fan of the clothing line, you will know that they work to perfect fleece products and are made up here in the North. This time around they do their standard sweaters and sweatpants but we also get to see new jackets, shorts and a scarf. It is hard to tell what many of the pieces are made of, but we at least to get to see the styles. I am thinking that there might even be some Tiger Fleece and Polartec in the line. It seems like they plan on fooling around with neutral colours a lot this Fall and Winter; many of the photos are black, charcoal, heather grey and navy. I personally love almost all of the pieces, but I really like the Alpine Heather Parka (the top photo).

Raw Denim Bath (1)
I finally got around to doing my first wash for my Naked & Famous jeans. I have been wearing them for about a year and three months. I finally felt like I should be more sanitary and remove the odour that was trapped in the fabric. I took photos for before and after. Let me begin by showing you photos of the denim before the wash.
Before
The Process
I filled a tub of freezing cold water and added a small amount of detergent. I then tossed my pair of jeans inside of the tub and removed the stains and marks by hand. I did this by playing around (scrubbing, splishing and splashing) with them. I then let them sit in the tub for about an hour.
After I rinsed them off with cold water to make sure that there was no soap remaining. The water left over was a dark blue. Finally I hung up my denim on a pant hanger and they took about 20 hours to dry without a fan.
After
Conclusion
Originally I was quite worried that they would fade a lot, thankfully they didn't. As you can see, the photos from before and after look almost identical. Although I have noticed that the jeans look more blue than before. They have also become very stiff again. I did have a chance to wear them for a full day and even get a bike ride out of them, it won't take long until they are as comfortable as before. Another thing that I am happy with is that the honeycombs (those marks behind the knees) and all other previous creasing are wearing the exact same way as the first time too. Overall, I am extremely happy with the wash. I am thinking that the next rinse/wash will be sometime next Spring.
If anyone has any denim questions feel free to ask me or our denim enthusiast Evan.
