Air Jordan III | Retro '88

Tomorrow morning the Air Jordan III will hit a couple of stores in the city. The US already had this release last month and it was a huge success for the Jordan brand which leads us to the Canadian drop. The shoes will be priced more than most pairs for the main reason that the "Nike Air" sits on the heel rather than the Jumpman, this hasn't been done since 1988 (hence the name). Through blogs and websites, I will tell you that many people are not planning on sleeping on these, I assume that there will at least be a few people waiting at midnight Saturday in the cold. Momentum on 8th Street will be receiving these and possibly Foot Locker in Midtown Plaza as well. Best of luck!

Nike Flyknit Lunar 1+

I just received a pair of Flyknit Lunar's for myself and a pair for Aashna. We plan on going to California and Banff this Summer so I thought I would get us each a pair for Valentine's day for all of the walking we plan on doing. These released on February 14, 2013 after the success of the previous model used during the Olympics. Nike was also awarded for their technology advancements in the sneaker industry with the invention of Flyknit.

The shoe is named a Flyknit for the knitted upper, it has the purpose of providing a snug fit, breathability and light weight. These shoes also minimize waste by using the knitted material. The shoe sits on a Lunarlon sole which is one of Nike's current most popular midsoles for running. It is also compatible to Nike+. I would say order your true size but I am not too sure how they stretch so far.

Sadly these may not enter the Canadian market but can be purchased from Foot Locker online.

Air Jordan XI | Playoffs

This sneaker is known as the Playoffs and as the Bred. Jordan has been crazy with their releases and the next year will be the exact same. The Breds is another successful attempt of making sneaker heads spend money and fight for shoes. I can already say it's a success based on the long awaited hype and quality of these photos. These are expected to release on December 21, 2012. You will be able to purchase them at Footlocker and Momentum.

Jordan V Fire Red Re-Release

In January of 2013, I am super excited to say that the Fire Red V is releasing! This is my favourite Jordan from the 1-23. The silhouette is great, the tongue, midsole design and rubber meshing really do it for me. In the past you can see many celebrities wearing this basketball shoe for every day where including Will Smith in the first Fresh Prince season.

There are many other good drops too including a Royal Blue Jordan I.

Air Jordan XII "Obsidian"

These are set to release on Saturday July 23, 2012. The original pair released back in 1997. These will probably be sold at Footlocker and Momentum.

Air Jordan IV "Military Blue"

I decided that I should stop sleeping on all of the Jordan's and purchase the odd pair on release day. This past Saturday (June 9, 2012), the Yeezy 2's, "Military Blue" IV's and a pair of Kobes all dropped. I was fortunate enough to at least get one of three. I am happy with the colour way of the model, I am always getting sucked into buying blue sneakers. I will finally give my Jordan V "Stealth's" a break and pick on another blue pair of J's. I will use these in a WDYWT one of these days and let everyone see how they look on if they haven't already seen them on another person.
