Reigning Champ | Fall '13 Lookbook
Canada's Reigning Champ continues to impress me year after year. It offers a great athletic look, not that grungy sweaty look in my opinion. This Fall they have began using their heavyweight material, this weight class is perfect for the season. I plan on grabbing multiple pieces for soccer, the club and lazy Sundays.

Reigning Champ Fall/Winter 2012
I am very excited to see Reigning Champ's line in person. It was released to the Internet a few days ago. If you are a current fan of the clothing line, you will know that they work to perfect fleece products and are made up here in the North. This time around they do their standard sweaters and sweatpants but we also get to see new jackets, shorts and a scarf. It is hard to tell what many of the pieces are made of, but we at least to get to see the styles. I am thinking that there might even be some Tiger Fleece and Polartec in the line. It seems like they plan on fooling around with neutral colours a lot this Fall and Winter; many of the photos are black, charcoal, heather grey and navy. I personally love almost all of the pieces, but I really like the Alpine Heather Parka (the top photo).

Reigning Champ
A lot of people are unaware of CYC Design and its in-house brands. CYC produces Supreme, Alife and aNYthing just to name a few successful companies. It's more affordable lifestyle brand is known as Reigning Champ. They are famous for their logoless products and athletic fitting fleece pieces. Over the past couple of years, a lot of locals have been wearing American Apparel hoodies and sweat shirts. If you were one of these people I'd recommend checking them out. Reigning Champ is just another option offering higher quality product as well as being made in Vancouver, Canada. They distributes tees, sweaters, hoodies, pullovers and blankets for instance. This season they have made some useful pieces to get you through the winter while still keeping fashion in mind. You can check them out at Haven, Livestock or in store at Momentum.

Reigning Champ
Reigning Champ is a company based out of Vancouver, Canada. It is a house brand affiliated with Wings + Horns, underneath of CYC Design Corporation. CYC is in charge of the production of some Supreme and Alife goods just to name a few brands. Reigning Champ is well known for producing simple, minimal branding and high quality products. I personally like it because of the cuts and use of materials, whether it's a thin fleece for summer evenings or a polar tech sweater used for layering in the winter. I am proud to say that Momentum on 8th street is now carrying one of my favorite brands.

Goodbye Calgary/Red Deer
My trip had gone as planned, I spent the majority of time with my family. Amazing food including: traditional chinese food, ribs, lobster and fish tacos. In our spare time we shopped, played basketball (I am worse than I thought I was), batting cages, arcade and seeing Inception.
When I was in Calgary Aashna and I saw Drake perform. We were in line outside for approximately two and a half hours. When we got in we realized there was no seating and it was way too hot. The crowd was very diverse and like usual everyone was spilling drinks on me. Overall Drake was good live, better at singing than I thought he would be.
We also did a bit of shopping, my favorite stop was Livestock where I purchased a Reigning Champ hood. Livestock is always cool because the guys there are knowledgable and welcoming. Cross Iron Mills was also new to me, it had a variety of stores that paid interest to everyone.
Lastly I received the Nissan Maxima, it is a lot more luxurious and fun than my Civic. I plan to show everyone photos when I get the chance.

Calgary trip
So on the eighteenth of this month I am heading to Calgary with some of my family because I have a lot of relatives there. The plan is to visit all of my family and hopefully see my good friend Ryan Contenti that I used to play soccer with. I will do a bit of shopping at Group Seven and Livestock in search of a Reigning Champ zip up hoodie.
If I sell my Civic soon, I will also be able to pick up the Nissan Maxima. I don't want to get my hopes up too high but I really do want that vehicle. Another huge plan for the trip is to go and see Drake at the Big Four building on July 25. Aashna will be flying up that day to come see it with me. I am very excited for that, should be a lot of fun. Other than that Chinese dinners every night and hanging out with friends and family. Calgary is always a fun trip.
